This Polk Audio Surroundbar IHT 6000 Instant Home Theater is an excellent product. Now the Polk ITH 6000 is an all inclusive system with it's own amp, so there is no piggy-backing off another unit, and is in the range of 140 to 150 watts. The bass is very fluid and soft. It has a seperate control on the remote that you can adjust it up or down. The up setting will take it into killer range. The bass is a remote system and you can put it in your cabinet with the doors closed. Sounds great. The center channel will give you crisp clear voice with no distortion, and the 5 channel surround will have your head turning to see what's going on to your left and right.
The Soundbar IHT 6000 is totally sufficient for a medium size room and the sound is crisp and clear with a remarkably powerful subwoofer. Out of the box and installed in 10 minutes. Works with TV remote for volume and mute. Surprised to find that it is quite powerful and is not distorted even at high volume levels. Good technology with the fiber optic cable (included)that hooks to the TV. Allows 3 inputs, but no HDMI as some other units. Good volume control for the subwoofer which is a must.
