Onkyo TX-NR809 THX Certified 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver very easy to set up because it displays on the TV. Easy to flip thru the menus. Defaults to straight in/out so you do not have to mess with the assignment settings to start using it. Plug stuff in and start listening. Internet play is great. Displays several sites like Pandora on the TV. Once you set Pandora or whatever, it holds it. So if you push NET on your remote it goes right to the last station you were listening to. No problems setting it up - just plugged it into the router and it worked. Onkyo TX-NR809 THX Certified 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver have iPod play. Nicely done. Just plug it in. Automatically displays files on the TV and easy to select. Only downside is you have to plug it into the front of the receiver. But, it is standard USB so no need to buy some $99 special cable.

Onkyo TX-NR809 THX Certified 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver have remote is very logical and nicely laid out. Easy to set the relative speaker volumes. You will ran the auto set up using the included microphone and you think it tweaked it very nicely. Definitely improved the sound. Easy to further tweak using the onscreen function.

You will also like the way the speaker connections go along the bottom of the receiver. Smart thinking there. Much easier to hook them up. Onkyo TX-NR809 THX Certified 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver have also TV output is very crisp and looks good. Do not know if it is a big improvement but it certainly is not hurting it.
